Life is beautiful

Similarities between the "Life is Beautiful" and the poems and readings I have read are the they both involved Jews. Another similarity was that Jews were taken to consideration camps, they also boarded trains. Another connection between the movie and he readings was, Jews were treated terribly and they lived in terrible conditions, and they were also killed. One difference between the movie and the readings was that the man in the movie kept lying to his and telling his son that it was all a big game and nothing was going to happen to them.

One difference between the two is in the movie the mood is a little more light hearted then in the readings. One similarities in mood is that in the movie and in some of the children's poems, they look for the good things in their bad situations. Another difference between the movie and the readings  is that in the movie it gives you a better understanding what happens in those concentration camps and in the readings they can only tell you and you have to try and use imagery to see it.

One example of how life was beautiful in the movie is that a man fell in love with a woman and still had a good life with a son. This is beautiful because this man found the love of his life and had a child, if that doesn't sound amazing than I don't know what does. Another way this movie was beautiful is, even though the man and his family went to the camps and got slit up, the man tried to keep his sons mind as innocent as possible and to not put fear in his sons mind. That's beautiful because the man makes it a game for his son and also tries to make sure his wife knows that he's fine.

Why did they make this propaganda?

This propaganda is trying to show how Jews are evil. This propagandas intended audience is adults. This propaganda is effectively getting its message out but the picture they use to represent Jews. I think that to me this propaganda is not effective because I don't see any Jews waking around with their symbol on the forehead look like that creature on the poster.

Biggest Regret

One of the biggest regrets I have was being socially awkward because I miss out on meeting very nice and amazing people. When I went to Mexico some 4 years ago I was introduced to some of my cousins friends but I was so shy I never considered getting to know them. When I was around them I always wanted to talk to them and play volleyball with them but I let my shyness and my lack of social skills get in the way. Today we are pretty good friends, if only I considered opening up to them when I was younger because they are some of the kindest and funniest people I know. If I could go back to the day I meet them I would have full intentions to get to know them. I was always a friendly person but I was always mortified to speak to people. If I would have told my cousin to let me stay at the park a little longer I would have loved to talk to them. The worst part of that day is that they wanted to include me in their conversations and their games but I always denied.

Small as an elephant

Small as an elephant is by Jennifer Richard Jacobson and it's about how an 11 year old boy named Jack Martel, who's mother left him in the woods of Maine after an argument they had on there way there. Jack goes on this huge search for his mother but then decides to go see Lydia the elephant before he goes to the police and is taken away from his mother. This is not the first time to happen but all the other times he was left alone he was in his apartment in Boston and his mother came back.

I recommend this book to people who like adventure stories. This book is really nice to pass the time and to just relax. I recall a time while reading this book when I have nothing to do at home. This book has many sad moments but in the end it's one big adventure for one small kid.

A chance of a lifetime

If I could meet any famous person I would love to meet Abraham Meteo.  I want to meet Abraham because I always wondered what does it feel like to be famous? If I could spend the day with him I would spend it at a water park because I always loved going to water parks as a child? Some questions i would ask would be, "Do you enjoy what you do?", " When did you first start singing?", " if you could describe your life in three words what would they be?", etc. I think it's worth meeting Abraham because he started his career at a young age like many others but he is not only an English singer but also a Spanish singer. I would just like to hang out with him all day because when I first found out about him he was actually, pretty attractive.
