Small as an elephant

Small as an elephant is by Jennifer Richard Jacobson and it's about how an 11 year old boy named Jack Martel, who's mother left him in the woods of Maine after an argument they had on there way there. Jack goes on this huge search for his mother but then decides to go see Lydia the elephant before he goes to the police and is taken away from his mother. This is not the first time to happen but all the other times he was left alone he was in his apartment in Boston and his mother came back.

I recommend this book to people who like adventure stories. This book is really nice to pass the time and to just relax. I recall a time while reading this book when I have nothing to do at home. This book has many sad moments but in the end it's one big adventure for one small kid.

A chance of a lifetime

If I could meet any famous person I would love to meet Abraham Meteo.  I want to meet Abraham because I always wondered what does it feel like to be famous? If I could spend the day with him I would spend it at a water park because I always loved going to water parks as a child? Some questions i would ask would be, "Do you enjoy what you do?", " When did you first start singing?", " if you could describe your life in three words what would they be?", etc. I think it's worth meeting Abraham because he started his career at a young age like many others but he is not only an English singer but also a Spanish singer. I would just like to hang out with him all day because when I first found out about him he was actually, pretty attractive.

What a Commercial

I have chosen the comercial of Mr.clean from the super bowl because I think that it has a stronge message behind it. In this comercial it shows not only a woman cleaning but also a man. This is a comercial reaching out to men since women are the ones who are the ones that have to do all the cleaning. This comercial shows impotence because many men don't care for cleaning and leave it to the women, but from them helping out it shows them how hard us women have to work to live in a clean environment. I think that this is a comercial I would also show my brothers because they don't really help me and my mom clean, I recall them always telling me "it's not our job, it's the women's job to clean" but that's not true. I also think that men should help out around their homes and help out the ladies because once in a while we can use a break.

My Families advice

Ever since I was little my family always told me "If you don't try it, you never know if you'll like it", but I never really tried anything because I was always scared to try things. I recall my family always telling me to try something to see if I liked it but I didn't want to, that is until I started 2nd grade. The year before I saw how my brother really enjoyed playing soccer but I didn't join right away so I missed the tryouts. When soccer came back during 2nd grade I told myself to remember what my family always told me and turns out that, I made the team and it was one heck of a confidence boaster. Ever since that day I have tried more and more new things and here I am today, I am more confident in my skin, I am confident with my words and I am more confident around new people. I now love to try new things, to find the adventure and joy in it. So thanks to my family, I have many things coming my way and many things I want to try in the future.
